Old loves they die hard, old lies they die harder.

Nightwish  was AMAZING. Easily the best concert I've ever been to. The venue was fantastic, the crowd was great (metalheads are the nicest), and the band was excellent. They had this screen behind them showing scenery and different album covers for the songs they were performing. There’s something so awe-inspiring about being literally FEET AWAY from  people you’ve admired/idolized for years...Every single member of this band is so finely honed as an artist that together, they were mind-blowing. Although they did keep complaining about the heat (the singer was like, "Now I know what it's like to sing on top of a volcano!" and their uillean piper—because yeah, they have one—was like “Only lizards can survive here.” #WhereIsTheLie), but I guess that's what happens when you're from Finland. They were so great to the fans, too, everyone who came in got a free copy of their new album (2 discs!) and they kept thanking us. So gracious, so talented, so badass.

Today's song is "I Wish I Had an Angel" (alternate title: I Wish I Had Marco's Hair), which was an absolute BLAST to hear live. *_*

Enjoy my pics from the concert!

Also shout-out to my brother for going with and generally being awesome. 🖤
